LDL is a low-density lipoprotein, very rich in cholesterol and cholesteryl esters, contending one specific apoprotein. The bilding of apoprotein to an LDL receptors initiates process of endocytosis, which conveys the LDL and its receptor into the cell within an endosome. The endosome fuses with a lysosome, which contains enzymes that hydrolyze the cholesteryl esters, releasing cholesterol and fatty acid into the cytosol, and the LDL receptor returned to the cell surface, to function again in LDL uptake.

A LDL, uma lipoproteína de baixa densidade rica em colesterol e ésteres de colesterol liga-se a um receptor específico na membrana e inicia o processo de endocitose trazendo a LDL e seu receptor associado para o interior da célula dentro de um endossomo. Os receptores de LDL retornam à superfície celular e o endossomo com a LDL funde-se com uma lisossoma que contém enzimas que hidrolizam os ésteres de colesterol, liberando colesterol e ácidos graxos dentro do citosol.

A experiência relatada a seguir procurará tratar de uma tentativa de interdisciplinaridade entre as áreas de Português e Geografia. Nesta pesquisa Português e Geografia agiram ao mesmo tempo com trocas de informações se interpenetrando em seus campos de ação para que o aluno estabelecesse uma relação de sentidos, sentidos esses, que forneceram saltos qualitativos para que ele entendesse o local onde vive.
